Time for the 2nd edition of Bracketology. This is a snapshot of what the bracket would look like if today was Selection Sunday as I am predicting the Committee would select it. In order to fit the Committee's Principles and Procedures for creating a bracket some teams were moved up or down a seed line.
Auto bids are the team with the fewest conference losses with ties broken by RPI and are in CAPS.

Lobofan2003 Bracketology- 1/20/13Lobo, only procedural issue I see is I think Butler is a host of the Indy Region games, and thus cannot play there. Wikipedia does not list them as a host, but other sites I've seen, including the link below from the NCAA site lists them as a co-host along with the Horizon League and IUPUI.
Marquette at the 6 line seems high to me. I'm also not sure about Illinois as an 8 given how bad they were in the conference to date (even if you throw in the Nebraska win last night). I would comment on Florida being deserving of a #1, but given that I am watching them fall behind to Georgia all 1st half, I'm biting my toungue because that kind of loss would be a seed buster. http://fs.ncaa.org/Docs/stats/m_fin al4/2012/201205AttendanceAndSites.p df |

Lobofan2003 Bracketology- 1/20/13Good going. I should have my first one out tomorrow. I notice Colroado State is going to be a tough one. Thanks Joe! I'll definitely take a look at your bracket. As far as Arizona goes, I agree in theory that they should be a #1 seed, but I am penalizing them a bit for not being a conference leader at this point. On my S-curve they would be #4 and Syracuse would be #5, but in order to keep some of the other teams in the 2/15, 7/10 closer to home (UNLV, Weber State, Oklahoma) I paired them up with Arizona instead of making those teams go all the way out to Philly to play Syracuse. In the end when you have the #4 and #5 teams on the S-Curve in the same region it doesn't matter much which one is the #1 and the #2 seed. |

I do however think that Arizona is a slam dunk #1 seed if selection was now. I see them as the clear #2 overall seed. |
